Maggie J. Mulloy

Maggie Jane Mulloy is a former high school history and English Language (ELL) teacher turned writer and screenwriter who lives outside Washington, D.C., with her husband and three cats.

She earned her BA in History from Virginia Tech, a MA in Education from Shenandoah University, and is a 2024 Women in Film and Video Narrative Script Fellow.

As a Latina with an American-sounding name, she enjoys writing stories expressing diverse viewpoints with complex, layered characters. Her focus is on women, families, and the messiness of life. She is ready and excited to share her work with the world.
